Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, professional, and experienced Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity . In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through significant purchases like engagement rings, custom designs, and heirloom pieces. The ideal candidate has a proven success record in fine jewelry sales, deep product knowledge, and familiarity with jewelry store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultative Sales: Greet clients warmly, assess their needs, and deliver an elegant, personalized shopping experience.
• Product Expertise: Educate customers clearly on the 4 Cs of diamonds , gemstone properties, precious metals, and fine craftsmanship.
• Clienteling: Proactively follow up with customers using customer relationship management tools, tracking special occasions (birthdays/anniversaries) to build a loyal repeat clientele base.
• Custom & Repair Intake: Accurately handle intake details, photos, and tracking for custom jewelry designs, sizing, and repair orders.
• Point of Sale Operations: Smoothly process sales transactions, layaways, financing, and client profiles utilizing The Edge POS system .
• Merchandising & Security: Maintain stunning, immaculate showcase displays while strictly adhering to store security and high-value asset protection protocols.
• Daily Operations: Assist with precise morning and evening inventory counts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of retail fine jewelry sales experience is preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Prior experience utilizing The Edge POS software is preferred.
• Employment Status: This is a full-time position requiring approximately 35–40 hours per week.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of precious metals, gemstones, and diamond grading. (GIA or DCA certifications are a plus!)
• Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Availability: Flexibility to work standard retail hours, including Saturdays and extended seasonal holiday hours .
• Trustworthiness: Must be willing to pass a comprehensive background check due to handling high-value luxury merchandise.
